The one thing I wish the DCEU (Wonder Woman 2017) kept is the existence and continuation of the Old God’s. They play a big part in the original timeline, notably Wonder Woman’s Mythos. The majority of her comic stories mention her family and have other God’s from the Greek Pantheon appear to either aid or hinder Diana on her adventures.
Some of Diana’s half siblings can be her main villains if they use more material from the new 52. They’ll have characters like Apollo, Artemis, Strife, and Hermes that can give Diana a real challenge. Especially Zeus’s wife Hera since she had a pure hatred for WW and Hyppolyta due to Zeus’s affair (resulting in Diana’s birth).
Is there any there, there?
Also, the Greek Pantheon was rumored to have a role in the canceled New God’s movie. With Ares having particular part with Darkseid. Down the line they can have the Olympians exist in modern times making guest appearances in certain movies. We saw how devastatingly powerful they were in ZSJL, just imagine what stories they could come up with if the Old God’s weren’t killed off.

Existence is the universe where the Tales of the Stars (TOS) series takes place. This is a diverse world of wonders. The main protagonist of the Tales of the Stars series is Tol’Asha, a Star Bound Immortal tasked with slaying the cosmic dragons and bringing stability to Existence.

Spedi Sousa’s Dark Fantasy
Dark fantasy is a fantasy story that takes place between the late Ancient and early Middle Ages. A group of warriors is the ultimate line of defense against a horde of demons, led by a necromancer trying to free a dangerous fallen angel. Written and created by Spedi Sousa, Dark Fantasy is the first title from a creator other than Wilson Lee. The Series is set up for a five issue run, with colors by Andrew Coons, letters by Wilson Lee, and editing by Adam Mullen.
